The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR) has won this year’s PARAS 10 challenge, held on the 30th of September 2023.
PARAS 10 is the ultimate 10-mile endurance race. It is based on the 10-mile run from The Parachute Regiment’s P Company test week. There are two races: the PARAS’ 10 TAB, where you must complete the course in boots, carrying a 35lb pack. Or the PARAS’ 10 RUN over the same course without bergen and boots. The team from 2 RGR won both categories and team members were first in both races.
PARAS’10 is jointly run by SUPPORT OUR PARAS and P Company military staff who are serving in The Parachute Regiment. It is a non-profit event with all proceeds going to the charity which benefits our soldiers and their families.
