King Charles III Presents MVO Medals to The King’s Gurkha Orderly Officers

On 16 July 2025, the outgoing King’s Gurkha Orderly Officers, Captain Tarjan Gurung and Captain Jagatram Rai were presented their Royal Victorian Order (MVO) medals from King Charles III, in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.

This follows a year of ceremonial duty support to the Royal Family, where the KGOOs are in attendance at ceremonial events at the Royal Household.

Also in attendance at the event, was Major David Walker (Royal Gurkha Rifles), Chief of Staff, Headquarters Brigade of Gurkhas.
