The new Riflemen from Intake 23 for The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles have successfully completed their first-ever Jungle training experience in Brunei, led by expert Jungle Instructors. The young Gurkhas gained valuable knowledge and skills in navigating through the difficult terrain and adapting to the hot weather conditions.  The jungle offers a unique environment in which to hone dismounted infantry skills and training from individual marksmanship, navigation and survival training to the development of Battle Group level jungle warfare doctrine.
