The GBA Sponsors the HQ Brigade of Gurkhas Trailwalker team
The Gurkha Brigade Association (GBA) sponsored Trailwalker Team completed the 100km route across the South Downs in a very creditable time of 21 hrs 55 mins, finishing ahead of many field Army teams.
The team and support team consisted of serving personnel across several Gurkha cap badges, a Gurkha wife, a civil servant and a veteran.
The walking team of four, led by Lance Corporal Mohan (Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment), Mrs Jyoti Gurung GBA Trustee, Captain Mike Lymar (Queen’s Gurkha Signals) and Captain Fred Kingdon (The Royal Gurkha Rifles), were supported by an admin team of four, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Adrian Jones (Brigade Secretary), Sergeant Nirjang Gurung (Corps of Royal Signals), Mrs Ana Alonso Lopez (HQ Brigade of Gurkhas Civil Servant) and Corporal Sandesh Gurung (Queen’s Gurkha Signals).
A fantastic effort by the walking team and some good publicity for the GBA.
