Exercise AJEYA WARRIOR
Exercise AJEYA WARRIOR is a partnered training exercise between The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles and 21 Sikh Regiment in Rajasthan. Bringing together a unique blend of Gurkhali and Hindi military heritage.
This shared cultural strength reinforces interoperability, trust, and defence engagement between the two units.

2 RGR continue to strengthen bonds with the Indian Army’s 21 Sikh Regiment, working side by side to enhance interoperability and readiness ahead of the forthcoming Company-level validation. This will see our Gurkhas and their teams tested to make sure they can deliver the capabilities and with stand the demands placed upon the the Exercise.
This is a fantastic opportunity to not only develop international relations with the Indian Army, but to develop teamwork and the skills of our Gurkhas.

Personnel from both organisations have also been taking each other on at various sporting activities and taking the time to find out more about each other’s cultures and backgrounds.
