For the second consecutive year, the Sniper Platoon of The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles has secured an outstanding victory at the Tri-Service Sniper Competition 2025. This reaffirms their position at the pinnacle of United Kingdom Defence and international marksmanship excellence.
Competing against elite teams from across the United Kingdom Armed Forces and allied nations, the platoon demonstrated exceptional precision, teamwork, and tactical skill.

- Top Sniper: Corporal Ashish
- Top Pair: Corporal Ashish and Rifleman Sandip
- Third Place Pair: Sergeant Roshan and Rifleman Cyrus
- Fourth Place Overall Sniper: Rifleman Cyrus
- Second Place Overall Spotter: Sergeant Roshan
In an incredible achievement, both the top pair and top sniper not only dominated the United Kingdom Defence standings but also claimed the international title, showcasing world-class skill and consistency.
