The first Brigade of Gurkhas Badminton competition since leaving Hong Kong in 1997, was held successfully held on 11-12 Dec 2025 at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre.
The results were:
- Champion Unit – The Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE)
- Men’s Singles – Private Bikash Babu Khadka, Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment
- Men’s Open doubles – Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment
- Ladies doubles – MPGS ladies
The event was organised by Captain Joseph Subba (QGE) and the ladies competition by Mr J Gurung from HQBG.
The event was open to our wider community including the MPGS ladies. It is planned to make this an annual event, and we hope to see more of the Brigade taking part in 2026.
