The gymnasium at Tuker Lines was transformed into a hub of compassion and community spirit as British Forces Brunei (BFB) hosted the Blood Donation Drive 2025 in collaboration with RIPAS hospital, one of Brunei’s most respected medical institutions. With the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for the blood donations in Brunei remains critical. Recognizing this urgent need, BFB stepped forward not only as soldiers, but as lifesavers.

65 plus selfless individuals from across the BFB community, including locally employed civilians, soldiers and their family members, volunteered to donate blood. Each donation was a symbol of solidarity, humanity and the deep-rooted bond between the UK Armed Forces and the people of Brunei. Together, BFB and RIPAS sent a strong message, when communities unite, challenges can be overcome.
The BFB Blood Donation Drive 2025 did more than collect pints of blood; it built bridges. It exemplified how service to others knows no boundaries and how acts of kindness can strengthen relationships between nations. To contribute to Brunei at a national level in such a direct, life-saving way has been an immense honour for the BFB community. This event not only saved lives but also deepened the respect and cooperation between Brunei and UK.
