69 Gurkha Field Squadron deployed on Exercise KHUKURI CHALLENGE 2020, 15th – 18th September at Pippingford Park training area.
The Section competition was planned and organised by Staff Sergeant Basanta Gurung from I -Troop. The aim of the exercise was to test the knowledge of the Section Commanders on Fieldcraft, Combat Engineering, and Mandatory Annual Training Tests.
The competition comprised of numerous stands and all participant sections to move between stands within an hour in full marching order to complete the task. A visit by current Gurkha Major, Major Kamal Khapung to various stands gave him an opportunity to observe the military skills of the personnel and speak to the exercising troops.
