The United Kingdom Armed Forces (UKAF) 2025 Badminton Championships was hosted successfully at Royal Air Force Halton.
Warrant Officer Class Two (WO2) Joseph Subba, WO2 Jas Bahadur Rai and Sergeant Amber represented the Army.
Some very competitive and close matches were played throughout the competition. WO2 Joseph Subba (Queen’s Gurkha Engineers) finished runner up in the Men’s Doubles category and was also nominated in the UKAF team for this coming year.
Both WO2 Jas Bahadur Rai and Sergeant Amber played pivotal roles in the Combined Services event, contributing significantly to the Army team’s performance, which secured a commendable second place.
