First Gurkha to be awarded Top Bagpiper Award

Lance Corporal Umesh Rana (The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles) recently completed the All Arms Pipe Majors’ Course at the Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming and was awarded the ‘Top Piper’ on the course. He has become the first Gurkha to receive this award.
