Signaller Aman Thapa (248 Gurkha Signal Squadron, Queen’s Gurkha Signals) has successfully graduated from the prestigious Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming. Despite having no prior musical experience, he completed a demanding six-month Piping and Drumming course, gaining a solid foundation in music theory and practical performance on the snare drum and bugle. His exceptional commitment earned him three top accolades of best bugler, best in music theory, and overall best student.
Beyond his musical achievements, Signaller Thapa immersed himself in Scottish heritage, attaining pre-bronze level in Highland Dance.
