Success at the Tri-Service Martial Arts Championship 2025
Lance Corporal (LCpl) Suraj from Gurkha Coy Sittang represented the British Army Martial Arts Team at the Martial Arts Tri-Service Championship 2025, held on 19 July 2025 at HMS Nelson, Portsmouth. The event was hosted by The Royal Navy.
The championship brought together athletes from the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and British Army, competing across various disciplines under the UK Armed Forces Martial Arts banner. He competed in Taekwondo WT and the Weapon Freestyle Pattern display, where he secured a Gold medal, earning him the title of Tri-Service Champion 2025 in his category.
