Celebrations with the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas

On 12 July 2025, the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas celebrated its 31st birthday with an event involving the band personnel and their families, in Shorncliffe Kent.

On this special occasion, the band also bid farewell to the outgoing Director of Music, Major Esther Hayes (Royal Corps of Army Music) who has been with the band for several years and has pushed the band forward professionally.

The Band also welcomed the new Director of Music, Captain David Hatton (RCAM), and his family to the Gurkha Band community.
