On the 19th of February 2024, Colonel Anup Shah, (Nepali Army Military Attaché to the Embassy of Nepal in London), received an invitation to visit the HQ Brigade of Gurkhas, to be welcomed into his new role with the Embassy in London. Upon arrival, he was warmly greeted by Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas and the staff present in the building. As a part of the welcome, Colonel Shah was requested to sign the official visitors’ book.
Moving to the HQ conference room, Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas and other key staff members at HQ Brigade of Gurkhas provided an update on the Brigade of Gurkhas growth, development, and the current deployment of our Gurkhas around the world. This was followed by an opportunity to discuss the Embassy’s and the Nepali Army’s close relationship with the Brigade of Gurkhas. To conclude the visit, Colonel Shah had lunch with the HQ staff within Robertson House, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
