Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (Indo-Pacific), Minister, Catherine West MP, recently conducted a visit to British Forces Brunei. The objective of this visit was to acquire an in-depth understanding of the functions of British Forces Brunei (BFB) in the region, particularly regarding their diverse capabilities in warfighting and defence engagement
During the visit, the BFB Commander, provided the Minister with an update on the current circumstances in Brunei and engaged in discussions about future strategies aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of BFB units within the Indo-Pacific area. The visit included a capability demonstration by Support Company, The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles.
