Personnel from The King’s Gurkha Artillery (KGA) took part in Exercise ALPINE TIGER, the Royal Artillery’s Alpine Ski Championships held in France.
Ranging from complete novices to highly experienced skiers, the KGA contingent worked tirelessly throughout the training phase and delivered an impressive performance during the competition week. Their determination, adaptability, courage, and self‑discipline were evident throughout, and they consistently upheld the highest standards of conduct expected of Gurkha soldiers.


Exposure to such a demanding and competitive environment significantly enhanced those on the Exercise confidence, resilience, and technical proficiency, further reinforcing the KGA’s reputation for excellence.
