A team from The King’s Gurkha Artillery, has secured a Gold Medal on Exercise CAMBERIAN PATROL 2025, winning the first-ever Gold in the history of The King’s Gurkha Artillery Regiment.
The team’s outstanding performance, achieving the highest overall score among the British Army team is a testament to their elite training, exceptional leadership and unwavering professionalism. Their determination, winning mentality and indomitable Gurkha spirit were the key aspects of their excellence as they endured more than 65km across the challenging terrain of Wales.


The patrol was commanded by Sergeant Paribartan Rai, supported by Bombardier Kikmat Pun Magar and included Lance Bombardier Pawan, Gunner Shiu Narayan, Gunner Sudeep, Gunner Milan, Gunner Rakjar Singh, and Gunner Asbin, with the team managed by Sergeant Umesh Limbu.
