Sapper Keshav from 67 Gurkha Field Squadron represented the Corps of Royal Engineering and Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE) on WorldSkills UK National Final 2023 and has secured Second place.
Sapper Keshav was the best tradesman for the heating and plumbing practical of his class II in 2021. He was selected for the WorldSkills UK Qualifier stage which was held at Harrow Collage, London on 13th of June 2023. He secured first place in this competition. Sapper Keshav and other eight competitors made it to the UK National Final.
The WorldSkills UK National Final was held at Manchester from 14th to17th November 2023. He represented the Corps of Royal Engineers and QGE and secured a Silver medal (second place) and was awarded a Corps Colonel Coin.
It was a remarkable experience for Sapper Keshav to compete with the best of the best-experienced students from different colleges in the whole UK.
