A team led by Corporal Kiran Pratap Rai (70 Gurkha Parachute Squadron) has completed a Short Term Training Team deployment to Uganda.
The team delivered four weeks of the Advanced Plant Operator Course. This course will enable Ugandan defence forces for future operations in Somalia and other African regions. Section members were engaged in community support activities, providing charity and donations to homeless and disabled children.
