The 2025 Army Cycling Enduro Series (ACES) concluded in spectacular fashion on 24 September at Bike Park Wales, where the Army’s most passionate mountain bikers gathered to compete on challenging trails. I was thrilled to secure second place at the event, a result that reflects my dedication to the sport.
As the Corps Mountain Bike Enduro rider and Regimental Second-in-Command for mountain biking, I have worked tirelessly to promote the sport within my Regiment and the wider Corps. This commitment has not only driven my personal success but also contributed to the Regiment’s impressive seventh place finish from the 23 teams in the Major Unit category. This achievement is a testament to the teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm of our riders.
The ACES final was more than just a competition, it was a celebration of grit, camaraderie, and a shared passion for mountain biking. Standing on the podium was a proud moment and seeing the progress and achievements of my team was equally rewarding. The 2025 ACES final marked the culmination of an incredible season, and I look forward to continuing this journey as we strive for even greater success in the future.
