On 26 February 2026, The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, conducted a Kasam Khane Parade for the Gurkha Recruit Intake 25. These new Riflemen are now a key part of the Battalion. The reviewing Officer for the parade was Colonel David Robinson, whose presence further elevated the significance of the occasion.

The event was attended by British Forces Brunei service personnel and their families, whose support added considerable prestige to this important milestone. This traditional swearing‑in ceremony represents a pivotal moment for the new recruits as they take their oath of allegiance on the Nishani Mai (The Queen’s Truncheon), formally commencing their journey of dedicated service and lifelong commitment.
