A united appeal to all members of the Brigade of Gurkhas, family members and our friends in support of the Nepal Floods 2026

This campaign is an appeal to ALL members of the Brigade of Gurkhas, Nepalis, their families and friends in the UK and around the world to come together and provide meaningful support to those whose lives have been devastated by the floods.

On 26 August 2026, Nepal was struck by devastating floods that have brought unimaginable loss and suffering. Lives have been lost. Families have been separated.

Homes, roads, bridges and livelihoods have been swept away. Entire communities have been left devastated and cut off from essential support.

For those of us living overseas, the images and stories coming from Nepal are heartbreaking. We watch from thousands of miles away and wonder:

What can I do? Today, the answer is simple. We can stand together – The Gurkha Spirit.

Let us remember the families who today are facing a future they never imagined. Let us remember the children who have lost the security of their homes. Let us remember those who have lost their livelihoods. Let us remember those still waiting for news of loved ones.

Perhaps there is no better time to demonstrate that connection than now. Our success overseas gives us an opportunity to give something back to the country that gave us our beginning. Let us show the people of Nepal that distance has not weakened our bond.

Please make a donation to the Gurkhas Flood Relief 2026 via Headquarters Brigade of Gurkhas (HQBG) official bank account. Collected funds will then be officially handed over to the Nepal Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

There is no small donation when it comes from a united community. Together we can create something powerful. We can turn individual acts of kindness into collective relief.
