Welcome to The Queen's Gurkha Engineers
The Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE) proudly welcomed Gurkhas from 79 Training Party of Recruit Intake 25, who have recently completed their B2 Combat Engineer Course, during their Kasam Khane Parade on 27 March 2026.
In front of members of the QGE, 36 Engineer Regiment, invited guests, and dignitaries, the 29 trainees and their training staff were inspected by the Reviewing Officer, Major General J L Clark CBE.


During the parade, 79 Training Party recited their oath and sang the Corps of Royal Engineers song with enthusiasm and pride. Pandit Ji delivered the Mantra, marking the solemnity of the occasion.
The parade was supported by the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas, accompanied by two pipers from the QGE, adding ceremonial splendour to this significant milestone in the trainees’ careers.
