British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) Bids Farewell to Lieutenant Colonel Rajeshkumar Gurung, Deputy Commander BGN
Following an assignment lasting over two years, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Rajeshkumar Gurung, Deputy Commander of British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN), along with his wife, Mrs. Vhaumati Gurung, departed from BGN and said their goodbyes to the staff at BGN Kathmandu.

During the event, Lt Col Rajeshkumar Gurung officially opened the new British Gurkhas Kathmandu Temple, situated within the camp in Kathmandu, where he offered prayers for BGN and the Brigade of Gurkhas. Colonel Dan Rex MVO, the Commander of BGN, along with BGN officers and staff, were present to convey their best wishes to Lt Col Rajeshkumar Gurung and Mrs. Vhaumati Gurung. The event also featured the traditional tow-out of camp ceremony.
