The challenge of Kathmandu to Kent charity treadmill run, by personnel from British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) commenced in February and was completed on 25 June 2025. The team covered a total of 4,506 miles, raising funds for two charities.

The funds raised from the run will go towards supporting SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need, and Sajha Sahayatri Nepal, which supports survivors of sexual violence, particularly girls, by offering safe, nurturing shelters and educational opportunities.

The final part of the run was followed by a SSAFA Brew event, which was attended by BGN Officers and Staff.  Major Jit Hamal (Deputy Chief of Staff BGN) thanked and congratulated the team members for the amazing team effort.
