Newly appointed British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam

Ms Alexandra McKenzie – newly appointed British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam – visited British Forces Brunei (BFB) on the 22nd of August 2024.

Lieutenant Colonel John Jeffcoat (Commanding Officer), Major Benjamin (Second in Command), Major Jiwan Pun (Gurkha Major), along with the battalion headquarters team from The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR) welcomed Her Excellency with RGR Mala (garland) and a Guard of Honour was presented.

Her Excellency visited and interacted with various department heads within BFB as a part of her Brunei familiarisation and to understand the roles of British Forces in Brunei.
