24 personnel from Support (Medicina) Company, The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, completed a demanding Adventure Training expedition in the Bavarian Alps along the Germany–Austria border.
The programme incorporated mountain biking, mountaineering, Klettersteig, rock climbing, and kayaking.
Operating across challenging alpine terrain at elevations between 920m to 2,200m, the expedition offered an invaluable opportunity to develop physical endurance, mental resilience, and teamwork.
