Vice Admiral Phil Hally CB MBE (Chief of Defence People), and Colonel David Robinson, (Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas), visited British Forces Brunei (BFB), transitioning from the rugged jungle environment to a coffee morning with BFB families.
Soldiers and officers from The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles showcased their survival skills in the challenging jungle terrain, demonstrating their expertise in operating under extreme conditions.
The coffee morning event provided a valuable platform for families to welcome the senior leaders, share their experiences, and offer suggestions to enhance the BFB community. During this event for the recognition of exceptional dedication, several soldiers were awarded the prestigious Coin, marking a moment of pride for the BFB community.
Their visit underscored the importance of both operational excellence and community welfare, strengthening the connection between leadership, personnel, and families.
