Sergeant Umesh Malla of The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, and Corporal Jagadish Gurung of the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers, currently serving in Gurkha Training Company, Catterick, have been awarded the Commandant Soldier Academy Commendations.
The commendations were awarded in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Infantry Training Centre, particularly in the successful delivery of the Combat Infantryman Course during 2025.
