Since relocating to Catterick Garrison in 1999, Gurkha Training Company has earned a strong reputation for professionalism, discipline and dedication, not only within the military but also across the local community. This reputation led to an invitation from Ayresome Court Nursing Home, where residents, many with personal or family connections to the Armed Forces, warmly welcomed the opportunity to learn more about the Brigade’s extraordinary legacy.

The visit provided a valuable occasion to strengthen relationships between the military and the local community, fostering mutual understanding and appreciation while celebrating the enduring heritage of the Gurkhas.
