Gurkha Company Tavoleto – Junior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Trophy

Corporal Ganesh Bahadur Chand, Queen’s Gurkha Signals, currently serving with Gurkha Company Tavoleto (GCT), Warminster, was awarded the Junior Non‑Commissioned Officer of the Year Trophy during the Tavoleto Battle Honour Day celebrations on 4 September 2026.

The award recognises his exceptional performance, unwavering dedication and significant contribution to both the Company and the Combined Arms Manoeuvre School (CAMS). The trophy was presented by Lieutenant Colonel James Spencer, Commanding Officer, CAMS.

Reflecting on the honour, Corporal Ganesh said, “I am truly honoured and grateful to receive this award. It is a proud moment in my military career and serves as motivation to continue striving for excellence. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my chain of command for trusting me and presenting this award.”
