In a remarkable display of skill and determination, a team of seven from The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR), participated in an alpine skiing competition held in Val D’Isere, France, Exercise FROSTED BLADE. The team returned home triumphant, having secured several medals. The team was led by Lieutenant William Clark and Corporal Pawan Thulung, whose guidance and support were instrumental in the team’s overall success.

The performances included:
- Gold Medal, Novice Super Giant Slalom – Lieutenant William Clark
- Silver Medal, Novice Slalom – Rifleman Yam Bahadur Gurung
- Bronze Medal, Novice Slalom – Rifleman Bijaya Moktan
- Gold Medal, B Jnr Combination – Rifleman Yam Bahadur Gurung
