A project in Dharan to build a Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment (QOGLR) Monument in Dharan, Nepal has been completed. It was unveiled on 19 September 2026, with serving Gurkhas and veterans present from QOGLR at the British Gurkha Memorial Park in Dharan, Nepal. The monument anchors the Regiment’s history, honouring the fallen and keeping their shared bond and sacrifice alive for those who serve today.
Lieutenant Colonel Nick Heppenstall MBE (Commander QOGLR) and Major (Retired) Balkrishna Rana MBE (Chairman, Regimental Association Nepal (RAN)), Lieutenant Colonel Rob Browne (Deputy Commander BGN) and Major Vivek Jung Shah MVO MBE (Gurkha Major QOGLR) were present at the event.
The event also honoured the 68th QOGLR Regimental Birthday.
