NST Marks the 77th Birthday of the Queen’s Gurkha Signals

The 77th Regimental Birthday Parade of the Queen’s Gurkha Signals (QG SIGNALS) took place at British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN), Kathmandu, on 28 September 2026. The event brought together BGN staff, families and veterans from the QG SIGNALS Association in Nepal.
Colonel Dan Rex MVO (Commander BGN) addressed those present, highlighting the vital role played by QG Signals personnel across wider Defence.
BGN was honoured to host Lieutenant Colonel Terry Harrison (Commander QG SIGNALS), Major Subaraj Sunuwar (Gurkha Major QG SIGNALS) and Warrant Officer Class One Pramesh Shrestha (RSM QG SIGNALS) for this significant occasion.
During the parade, Corporal Sai Roka was awarded the Kaida Coin by Commander QG SIGNALS for his outstanding service in the Regiment.
