A proud milestone
A proud milestone has been reached by the trainees of Gurkha Recruit Intake 26, who have successfully completed Pass off the Square, the formal conclusion of their basic training and the gateway to the next stage of their military journey. They now move forward into Initial Trade Training as part of their demanding nine month programme.
The assessment involved a meticulous inspection of individual turnout and bed space layout, followed by a rigorous foot drill evaluation. Every trainee deliver ed an exceptionally high standard, making it a difficult task for the judging panel to distinguish between them.

Congratulations to Trainee Rifleman Dhiren Limbu, awarded Best Individual Trainee, and to 5 (Helles) Platoon, crowned Best Platoon under the leadership of Captain Chakra Rai and Platoon Sergeant Rabisingh Thakuri.
This achievement reflects the outstanding discipline, professionalism, teamwork and dedication shown by both Permanent Staff and trainees throughout Basic Training. We extend our best wishes to all trainees as they embark on the next phase of their development.
