Commandant Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE) Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Castro Royal Engineers, Gurkha Major QGE Major Govinda Bahadur Rana, and QGE Personnel would like to congratulate Sergeant Deviram Rai and his team from 50 Headquarters and Support Squadron, for raising £305 for a local community project.
The money raised was handed to the Bearsted Woodland trust community in the presence of Regimental Headquarters and 50 Squadron personnel.
A tree plant has been planted in the community with a plaque with the Regimental name on it. It is hoped this will encourage others in the community to think about green issues and a carbon-free community.
