The Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR) Volleyball Team, led by Colour Sergeant Rabin Rai, has once again proven their dominance on the court by successfully defending their title as Champions of the UK South Division Volleyball Tournament 2025.
The tournament was held on 15 January 2025 at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre. The event saw fierce competition among the 11 teams taking part. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, skill, and resilience, the team from 2 RGR remained undefeated throughout the competition, solidifying their reputation as a powerhouse in military volleyball.
This remarkable victory not only reaffirms their standing as the best in the South Division but also secures their well-deserved spot in the upcoming Army Championship 2025.
