1st Signal Regiment deployed on Exercise RHINO UPLIFT 26 at Old Carter Barracks, Bulford, delivering a comprehensive uplift and validation of all tactical communications platforms. The exercise also served as a key risk‑reduction activity ahead of Exercise SPRING STORM 26 (Ex SS 26), with a strong emphasis on establishing and operating command posts (CPs) and integrating 245 Signal Squadron (Electronic Warfare) within the 4th Light Brigade for Forward Land Forces (Estonia).

246 Gurkha Signal Squadron led the establishment of the Brigade Network Operations and Security Centre and its associated control CPs, ensuring that all communications and information systems (CIS) capabilities were rigorously tested under realistic operational conditions.
