On the 19th of July 2024, Major Sanjip Rai MVO was given a traditional farewell by The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR) at Sir John Moore Barracks on completion of his two years tenure as the Gurkha Major with the Battalion. A customary ‘Tow Out’ was carried out and a guard of honour was presented to him before his departure.
