As part of its engagement with the institutions and communities of Nepal, the British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) Annual Golf Competition was held on the 4th of September 2024 at the Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC), Kathmandu. The event saw active participation of the RNGC members, former Nepali Army Officers, and serving personnel and veterans of the British Army and Singapore Police.
The event continued at BGN Kathmandu at the prize-giving ceremony, support to RNGC hand-over and dinner. While thanking all the participants in his remarks, Colonel Dan Rex MVO (Commander BGN) underscored the importance of strengthening mutual relations in Nepal with the pillar background of such a unique legacy of the Brigade of Gurkhas.
The organising team led by Major Gyanbahadur Dhenga (Gurkha Major BGN), Major Krishna Loksam (Quartermaster BGN) and Colour Sergeant Ashok Gurung (Company Quartermaster Sergeant BGN) congratulated all the winners and participants of the competition that BGN was privileged to host.
