On 12 May 2025, the Queen’s Gurkha SIGNALS Pariwar came together to celebrate Buddha Jayanti, Ubhauli Parva, and Chandi Purnima at the local temple, marking a moment of unity and devotion.
A significant highlight of the event was the official inauguration of the newly built Hawankunda by Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Carey, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed especially the team that built it, whose dedication made this vision a reality. In recognition of their support, Gurkha Major Suresh Limbu Saheb honoured them with khada, a gesture appreciation.
With a large gathering of serving members, families, children, and guests, the celebration fostered a beautiful sense of togetherness, reinforcing the values that bind Gurkha community.
