During March 2025, Whisky Troop, 250 Gurkha Signal Squadron, carried out Exercise GLOBAL KHUKURI 25 in Brunei. This exercise saw a team of 25 personnel from 30 Signal Regiment and the Signal Platoon of The First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (1 RGR), focus on enhancing operational communication information system capabilities.
The activity was observed by the Commander British Forces Brunei and the Officer Commanding 250 Gurkha Signal Squadron.
A notable highlight was the jungle survival training conducted by the Jungle Warfare Instructor team from 1 RGR, provided valuable knowledge on operating in austere environments.
