250 Gurkha Signal Squadron conducted Exercise KHUKURI LEADER 2/24 (Ex KL2/24) in September, which took place at Swynnerton Training Area. This exercise builds on core combat skills, a part of the Battlecraft Syllabus and further encompasses the elements of Individual training requirements to prepare force elements at readiness in line with our missions and tasks.
The exercise was designed to simulate a wide range of combat scenarios, pushing participants to adapt, think critically, and execute missions with precision. Soldiers participated in a comprehensive program that balanced classroom-based theory lessons with practical field exercises. The theoretical lessons provided the foundational knowledge for soldiers to understand the ‘why’ behind every action, ensuring a strategic mindset is always in place.
By blending theoretical instruction with realistic battlefield scenarios, the exercise equipped young soldiers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in their roles.
