Colonel David Robinson (Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas), Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Adrian Jones (Gurkha Brigade Association (GBA) Secretary) and Captain Shiva Kumar Rai (King’s Gurkha Orderly Officer), recently attended the Friends of Nepal Gurkha Cup Polo held at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club. They also presented prizes to the winners and runners-up.
The Friends of Nepal UK is an organisation who support Gurkha related charitable endeavours through sporting events and cultural programmes. The Gurkha Polo Cup is one such activity, along with a wider programme of cricket, golf and ‘Momo and Bubbles’ events.
The event generated wider knowledge and understanding of the GBA and Brigade of Gurkhas, as well as being an enjoyable day out.
