On the evening of the 6th of November 2024, members of the Gurkha Brigade Association (GBA), serving, veterans and guests, gathered at the Army and Navy Club in central London for the annual Brigade Briefing and Dinner Night.

The briefing commenced with an update on the current state and successes of the Brigade of Gurkhas and future developments from 2025 onwards by Colonel David Robinson (Colonel Brigade of Gurkhas). This was followed by an update on the work and finances of the Gurkha Welfare Trust, delivered by Colonel (Retired) Richard Goodman (Chief of Staff Gurkha Welfare Trust). Then a update from the Gurkha Museum, presented by Emma Boryer (Head of Fundraising and Marketing Gurkha Museum Trust informing the attendees about the future development plans and fundraising requirements to update the Museum to bring it up to date and make it a museum the Brigade of Gurkhas can be proud of for years to come.

The evening continued with a bagpiper from the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Corps piped the guests into Dinner. This was a great time to enjoy good food and catch up with old friends from across the Brigade of Gurkhas. The GBA were fortunate to host the Defence Attaché from the UK Nepal Embassy and the Indian Embassy for the evening.
