On the 30th of September 2024, HRH The Princess Royal visited the Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Support Battalion at Imjin Barracks in Innsworth, Gloucestershire. The Princess Royal received a traditional Mala from the Gurkhas, viewed a bust of herself made from icing sugar, and cut a celebration cake with a large kukri to mark the unit’s 5th Birthday.

During her visit, she was shown around various display stands to demonstrate the work the Gurkhas carry out in support of Operations and major military exercises supporting the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps and NATO. She took time to speak to various Gurkhas and members of the Royal Logistic Corps.
