Developing Leadership and Welfare with The King’s Gurkha Artillery
On 30 June 2026, 34 (Seringapatam) Battery (The King’s Gurkha Artillery), hosted a Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) briefing day at Larkhill. The event aimed to enhance leadership skills, operational awareness, personal development, and welfare knowledge among JNCOs, reinforcing unit cohesion and preparing them for greater responsibilities ahead. Key themes guided the day’s content and included leadership, operations, personal development and welfare.
The highlight was an inspirational speech by Dr Hari Budha Magar MBE, whose first-hand experience motivated attendees to embrace leadership challenges with confidence and resilience. The briefing day concluded with an evening Messing event, offering an informal setting for networking and sharing experiences.
