The MP for Tewkesbury, Mr Laurence Robertson, visited Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) Support Battalion based in Gloucester, on Friday the 20th of October 2023. Mr Robertson was cordially received by the Imjin Station Welfare and Gurkha wives at the community centre.
Mr Robertson was shown round the camp and introduced to key members of the Battalion. He expressed great satisfaction upon seeing individuals from the Nepali community as well as senior Officers from Imjin Barracks located at Innsworth and he conveyed his gratitude for the Gurkhas and the community’s ability to make a positive impact in the local area. The Battalion look forward to hosting Mr Robertson again in the future.
