New Gurkhas Get to Grips with the Infantry Basic Radio in Brunei

The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, CSS (Cassino) Company, CIS Platoon, has successfully delivered the Infantry Basic Radio User (IBRU) courses for 61 of the newly arrived soldiers of Recruit Intake 25. This comprehensive week-long training package equips soldiers with foundational knowledge and practical skills in operating the Secure Military Intra-Theatre Radio Frequency Tactical Mobile Communications System, which utilises High Frequency, Very High Frequency, and Ultra High Frequency communication links.
